Tech services firm Cyient has partnered with data management company Prospecta to help asset-intensive industries such as mining, energy, and transportation build a unified and trusted master data foundation.

The collaboration will combine Cyient’s engineering and asset lifecycle management expertise with Prospecta’s cloud-native master data management (MDM) and data governance platform to help enterprises transform fragmented operational data into a single digital foundation.

Cyient and Prospecta said the joint platform will establish a harmonised and governed master data ready for AI applications. The solution aims to enable organisations to improve decision-making, deploy predictive maintenance and reliability analytics, support digital twin initiatives and accelerate AI adoption.

The platform will integrate with existing IT and operational technology systems, allowing enterprises to modernise asset and service lifecycle management across global operations while maintaining security and compliance, the company stated.

According to Cyient, the initiative is expected to reduce maintenance costs, improve asset uptime, and enhance operational insights.

“Asset-intensive industries are at a pivotal point where AI and advanced analytics can deliver transformational outcomes only if the underlying data foundation is trusted,” Harjott Atrii, Chief Business Officer – Strategic Initiatives at Cyient, said in a statement.

Ranjan Bakshi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Prospecta, said master data plays a critical role in enabling intelligent operations.

“Partnering with Cyient allows us to take a co-creation and joint go-to-market approach that directly addresses industry-specific asset and service lifecycle challenges.”

The companies said the partnership will focus on joint solution development, co-innovation and global go-to-market initiatives to help enterprises modernise asset and service lifecycle management across industries.
