Wipro has signed a multi-year contract with US-based insurance and financial services firm TruStage to modernise the latter’s retirement services business through an AI-driven technology and operations transformation programme.

Under the agreement, Wipro will overhaul TruStage’s core retirement services operations and technology stack through a consulting-led approach designed to enhance digital customer experiences, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth.

The transformation programme will be led by Wipro’s consulting arm, which will work with TruStage to build a long-term strategic innovation roadmap to develop a future-ready retirement services business.

As part of the engagement, Wipro will deploy its AI platform suite, Wipro Intelligence. The initiative will cover business process and IT services, technology infrastructure management, and the creation of an integrated global operating model to manage TruStage’s wider vendor ecosystem.

Designit, Wipro’s experience innovation company, will also work alongside Wipro’s consulting team to redesign TruStage’s technology stack and customer delivery model.

“Retirement planning is crucial to the middle market consumers we serve,” Chris Copeland, Chief Business Officer at TruStage, said in a statement.

“Many individuals and families in the middle market face unique challenges when it comes to preparing for their financial futures, and it’s our mission to ensure everyone has access to the tools and services they need to achieve long-term financial security. Our work with Wipro marks a significant step forward in that mission, as we modernise our retirement business, streamline our operations, and enhance the customer experience for those who have traditionally been underserved by the industry.”

Srini Pallia, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Wipro, said evolving customer expectations in financial services are driving demand for simpler, digital-first experiences.

“Through Wipro Intelligence and our consulting-led approach, we look forward to helping TruStage accelerate decision-making, enhance customer experience, and build a foundation for long-term growth,” he noted.
