Deloitte India has inaugurated a dedicated SAP Delivery Centre in Bengaluru. The centre will serve as an AI-led innovation and delivery hub to support SAP’s transformation priorities while helping enterprises accelerate cloud adoption, intelligent automation, and AI-driven business transformation.
The new facility reinforces India’s growing role as a global hub for enterprise technology, cloud modernisation, and AI innovation. Deloitte said in the release that the centre will support SAP and joint customers across the entire transformation lifecycle, including innovation, architecture, engineering, implementation, and managed services.
The centre is backed by an existing ecosystem of more than 1,000 professionals across India and is expected to expand significantly over the next two years. Deloitte plans to add approximately 300 to 500 specialised AI professionals over the next 12 to 24 months, focusing on emerging technology domains such as generative AI, agentic AI, machine learning, cloud architecture, data engineering, and intelligent automation.
According to the company, the Bengaluru facility has been designed to help organisations modernise legacy systems, accelerate the adoption of SAP cloud solutions, unlock business value through AI, and build intelligent operating models for the future.
Commenting on the launch, Sathish Gopalaiah, president, consulting businesses, Deloitte South Asia, said, “The Deloitte–SAP Delivery Centre underscores our shared commitment to driving innovation through AI, cloud and advanced technologies. As organisations accelerate digital transformation, this centre will serve as a catalyst for developing next-generation solutions, enabling SAP and our joint clients to harness emerging technologies, scale innovation and deliver differentiated, technology-led outcomes globally.”
A key component of the new delivery centre is a dedicated AI Command Centre and prototyping lab, designed to accelerate experimentation and enterprise AI adoption. The lab will provide access to tools, mentorship, and collaborative development environments, enabling both technical and business teams to transform ideas into deployable AI solutions.
The initiative also aims to democratise AI innovation across enterprises by supporting the development of scalable frameworks, accelerators, and reusable assets that can simplify complex transformation programmes and improve operational efficiency.
The launch comes amid increasing enterprise demand for AI-powered business applications and cloud-based transformation services. Consulting firms and enterprise software providers are increasingly investing in dedicated AI delivery capabilities as organisations move from AI experimentation to large-scale deployment.
