Energy tech startup Aliste Technologies has raised ₹30 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Big Global JSC with participation from existing investor YourNest Venture Capital and manufacturing partner HBeon Labs.

The Noida-based company said the funds will be used to strengthen research into energy-focused solutions and expand distribution of its enterprise offerings.

Founded in 2021 by VIT graduates, Aliste Technologies initially started as a direct-to-consumer smart home brand and gained visibility after appearing on Shark Tank India. It has since shifted to enterprise energy management working across hospitality, co-living, retail and commercial sectors.

“Aliste is building the intelligence layer for energy, helping enterprises monitor, control and optimise usage,” said Co-founder and CTO Shreyansh Jain in a statement. “Our core belief is that what is good for the planet is also good for business. Sustainability is not just an ESG checkbox, it is a financial lever,” he added.

The company develops IoT-based systems that integrate with existing infrastructure and provide real-time insights into energy consumption and costs. These systems are designed to reduce energy wastage and improve operational efficiency.

Currently, Aliste manages over 150,000 IoT assets across more than 20 cities and towns, handling around 3 million units of energy every month. Its solutions are already being used across multiple sectors.

In co-living spaces, its monitoring tools help reduce energy leakage and improve billing transparency, increasing collection rates. In retail and restaurant chains, its systems can reduce electricity costs by up to 20% and alert businesses to potential equipment failures, the startup claims. In the hospitality sector, these tools help cut electricity costs by up to 15% by preventing misuse.

Highlighting the industry trend, Preetinder Panjrath, CFO at BIG Capital, said, “As AI adoption increases, energy costs are expected to rise significantly, impacting business margins. Aliste is positioned at the intersection of AI growth and rising energy demand, helping businesses manage this challenge.”

With the new funding, Aliste plans to scale its technology and expand its reach further.
