Gupshup has launched Superagent, an autonomous AI system designed to manage customer conversations across messaging and voice channels, as the company expands its push into AI-led engagement platforms.
The company said Superagent moves beyond conventional AI assistants by functioning as a full-stack orchestrator for customer experience. Through a single conversational interface, businesses can design campaigns, manage customer journeys, provision communication infrastructure, process transactions, and continuously optimise performance.
The platform supports channels such as WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, Telegram, Instagram, Truecaller, and voice networks, and is built to operate across multiple languages. It leverages Gupshup’s existing infrastructure, which handles billions of messages monthly for tens of thousands of businesses globally.
“What differentiates Superagent is its ability to act autonomously and deliver outcomes, not just responses,” said Beerud Sheth, Founder and CEO of Gupshup. “It can attract, serve, and convert customers across channels without needing constant direction.”
According to the company, early users have reported up to a 90% reduction in time, effort, and costs, along with over 25% improvement in conversion rates.
Alongside the launch, Gupshup introduced Superclaw, a self-hosted, on-device version of the platform built on its Openclaw framework. The offering is aimed at small and medium enterprises and organisations in regulated sectors, enabling them to run AI-driven customer engagement while keeping data local and private.
Superagent is currently available in beta and can be accessed via web, messaging, and voice interfaces, or integrated into existing AI ecosystems such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
