The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) has launched a new national-level initiative called “AI Skills House”, a free AI foundation programme aimed at equipping learners across India with essential artificial intelligence skills.
With this initiative, IICT aims to make foundational AI education more accessible to a wider audience, including students, working professionals, developers, and content creators.
Unlike traditional learning formats, the “AI Skills House” programme focuses on practical, hands-on experience. Participants will not only learn key AI concepts but also apply them through real-world projects, problem-solving exercises, and creative experimentation. The goal is to help learners move beyond theory and understand how AI can be used in real-life scenarios.
According to the institute, the programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements. By encouraging participants to build, test, and experiment, it aims to prepare them for the growing demand for AI skills in various sectors. The initiative not only promotes AI literacy but also encourages individuals to actively build and innovate using AI tools.
The initiative is open to individuals at all career stages. Students exploring future career paths, professionals looking to upskill, and developers seeking to enhance their technical expertise can all benefit from the programme. It also caters to creators who want to integrate AI into their work, reflecting the increasing role of AI in creative industries.
While the programme is being offered free of cost, IICT has stated, “Seats are limited, and registrations are expected to close soon due to high demand, highlighting the growing interest in AI education across the country.”
With the launch of “AI Skills House,” IICT is taking a step towards strengthening India’s digital and creative technology ecosystem.
