IT services company UST has collaborated with Anthropic to integrate the Claude family of AI models into its engineering platforms, enterprise solutions, and internal operations, while training and certifying 20,000 employees globally.
The partnership aims to help enterprises move from AI pilots to enterprise-scale deployments by combining Claude’s capabilities with UST’s engineering and domain expertise.
“Our alliance with Anthropic reflects UST's unwavering commitment to helping clients navigate the AI landscape with confidence and achieve meaningful business outcomes,” Krishna Sudheendra, CEO at UST, said in a statement.
Under the agreement, UST will expand the use of Claude across consulting, data, automation, cloud, infrastructure, and security services, as well as industry-specific platforms for sectors including healthcare, telecom, and banking.
UST said it is integrating Claude into engineering platforms used by semiconductor, automotive, manufacturing, telecom, embedded systems and IoT companies. The company expects the integration to support design verification, semiconductor validation, factory operations, and field services.
One of the first implementations will be through UST-iDEC, the company’s hardware and silicon validation platform. The company claims the platform reduces validation cycle times by 50–70% and shortens standard four-day turnaround times to 48 hours.
Claude will serve as the reasoning layer within the platform, helping engineers automate testing and identify faults earlier in the development process.
The company will also integrate Claude into healthcare, telecom, and banking platforms. These include UST CarePath for healthcare workflows, UST IntelliOps for network operations, and UST FinX for banking modernisation and compliance processes.
Beyond customer-facing platforms, UST plans to expand the use of Claude across its own legal, talent, marketing, infrastructure, and finance functions. The company said it is developing Claude-based workflows with human oversight built into key decision points.
Paul Smith, Chief Commercial Officer at Anthropic, said UST is “proving Claude inside their own engineering first, training 20,000 of their own people on it, before bringing it into the systems they build and run for clients”.
UST said it will create specialised teams to deploy Claude, with support from Anthropic’s training, certification, and technical guidance.
