San Francisco-based Operant AI has unveiled an AI Infrastructure Ecosystem Partnership Programme, aimed at embedding real-time security directly into the inference layer of enterprise artificial intelligence systems.
The launch comes as India accelerates its push to become a global AI hub, with rapid expansion in computing infrastructure across both public and private sectors.
However, industry experts warn that security frameworks are lagging behind the growth of infrastructure. A 2026 survey by FICCI and EY found that 61% of Indian business leaders view cyber-attacks and data breaches as major risks, elevating cybersecurity to a board-level concern.
Operant AI’s platform focuses on securing the inference layer, where AI models process inputs and generate outputs, using real-time monitoring to detect threats such as prompt injection, anomalous behaviour and unauthorised tool access. Its GPU-accelerated tools aim to deliver security without slowing high-performance systems.
The programme allows infrastructure providers to offer customers not just compute power but verifiably secure AI environments, a factor increasingly seen as critical in enterprise adoption.
Vrajesh Bhavsar, Co-Founder and Chief Executive, said the rapid rise of autonomous AI agents and interconnected systems has expanded the attack surface, making runtime security essential.
As enterprises deploy AI across sectors, including finance, healthcare and government, the ability to secure systems at scale is emerging as a key competitive differentiator in India’s fast-growing AI ecosystem.
