Gurugram-based Tagbin has launched Brixx, an AI-powered platform that aims to transform architecture, engineering, and construction workflows by letting users generate designs, CAD drawings, BIM models, bills of quantities (BOQs), detailed project reports (DPRs), and implementation plans using natural-language prompts.

Brixx initially started as an AI-powered DPR solution for the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Government of India, before expanding into a broader platform for the architecture, engineering, and construction sector. Users can describe project requirements in natural language, after which the platform generates coordinated designs, drawings, BIM models, cost estimates, DPRs, and project plans.

The platform is designed to cover multiple stages of a construction project, including architectural concept generation, space planning, CAD layouts, technical drawings, and coordinated BIM models. It can also prepare itemised BOQs and preliminary cost estimates, apply relevant building regulations and development controls, and generate DPRs, schedules, and implementation plans.

Brixx also extends beyond design and documentation into project monitoring. The platform is being developed to review designs for potential compliance issues, monitor construction using digital and visual evidence, and compare on-site construction against sanctioned designs. It can identify deviations, delays, and cost variations during execution.

“Software development is being transformed by platforms that convert ideas and prompts into working applications. We believe architecture and construction are ready for the same transformation,” said Saurav Bhaik, Founder and CEO of Tagbin, in a statement.

He added that Brixx can convert project requirements into coordinated designs, BIM models, drawings, BOQs, and execution plans while helping verify whether construction follows the sanctioned design.

The company said Brixx aims to create a digital connection between approved designs and construction, allowing stakeholders to track project progress and identify problems across the project lifecycle. Its longer-term vision covers stages from project conception and statutory approvals through procurement and completion.

For government agencies, Brixx can support DPR preparation, building-plan scrutiny, digital approvals and occupancy inspections. Private developers, architects and engineering firms can use the platform for design, estimation, documentation, and coordination between design and execution teams.
