Tech Mahindra has partnered with identity intelligence company Verato to integrate identity intelligence into its healthcare transformation programmes in the US, serving health systems, payers, pharmaceutical companies and medical-device makers.
Under the partnership announced on September 23, Tech Mahindra will integrate Verato MDM Cloud into its healthcare transformation engagements. The platform matches and unifies patient, provider and member records across disparate systems, creating a consolidated view of identities.
The integration will be part of Tech Mahindra’s broader work across cloud modernisation, enterprise integration and digital transformation for healthcare clients. The company previously partnered with KOGO AI to develop private AI solutions for enterprises, with healthcare among the sectors targeted. That work involved integrating AI systems with existing enterprise ecosystems and legacy infrastructure.
Fragmentation is also a problem in healthcare automation workflows. A report on UiPath’s healthcare revenue-cycle-management work highlighted how disconnected systems, claims and document-heavy processes can complicate automation.
Verato’s platform is intended to resolve duplicate and mismatched records across system silos and enrich them with additional data and contextual information. Organisations can then feed the data into the systems where they need it.
“Every AI model inherits the identity data beneath it,” Joaquim Neto, Chief Strategy Officer at Verato, said.
Ravinder Singh, Global Vertical Head, Healthcare and Life Science (HLS), Tech Mahindra, said the partnership would strengthen its healthcare transformation capabilities by adding trusted identity intelligence to those services.
The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the partnership or name specific customers adopting the combined offering.
