Bengaluru-based Yellow.ai has launched ‘Nexus Vox’, a new enterprise voice AI platform capable of cloning voices and supporting over 500 languages and dialects, including Indian regional languages and Hinglish, as companies race to improve multilingual customer support.

The company describes the platform as an enterprise voice AI system built as a fully integrated architecture rather than relying on multiple third-party APIs for speech recognition, conversational AI, and voice synthesis.

According to the company, Nexus Vox delivers response latency below 400 milliseconds, a benchmark which is close to natural human conversation. The platform also includes voice cloning capabilities, allowing enterprises to replicate voices from short audio samples and deploy them across multiple languages.

The launch comes at a time when enterprises are increasingly adopting AI-powered customer service tools, particularly in markets like India, where multilingual communication remains a major operational challenge.

“Enterprise voice AI has been a Frankenstein’s monster — several vendor APIs stitched together, each adding latency and introducing points of failure,” Raghu Ravinutala, CEO and Co-founder at Yellow.ai, said in a statement.

The platform was specifically shaped by Indian enterprise use cases involving code-switching between languages, regional dialects, and noisy real-world environments.

It includes features such as real-time sentiment detection, omnichannel deployment across telephony and web platforms, and integration with Indian language AI models developed by Sarvam AI under the IndiaAI Mission.

The technology is already being used in sectors such as insurance, banking, aviation, and customer service. The company cited deployments including AI voice support systems for motor insurance claims and multilingual customer service operations.

Founded in 2016, Yellow.ai currently serves more than 600 enterprises across 85 countries, while continuing to expand its engineering and AI operations in Bengaluru.
