Anshu Sharma Raja is currently the CIO of Consumer, Private and Business Banking at Standard Chartered Bank. In her role, she is responsible for global strategy and execution for SCB’s personal banking, wealth, and private banking as well as small and medium enterprise banking agenda across 40+ markets across the world. As a leader, she is focused on business transformation through technology and well invested in emerging areas such as cloud engineering, digital transformation, data and analytics.
A strategic leader with a keen sense of piloting and managing business, processes, technology and people, Anshu has nearly 25 years of experience with premier investment banks and technology firms, developing solutions, leading global programs and business units across areas in application development, technology infrastructure management, data science across financial services telecom domains.
She was recognised as one of the top 10 influential data science leaders in 2017 by Analytics India Magazine for setting up a high performing data science unit for AIG in India. She has co-authored a white paper along with Manipal Global Education, a leading education provider in India, to develop custom education programs to skill and re-skill young talent towards digital and data science technologies. She has also co-authored the Wiley Black Book of Exponential Technologies that was published in Jan 2019.
