Asha is currently the Vice President for Data Analytics at GE Healthcare. In this role, she is responsible for driving profitability and growth to support the firm’s key priorities by putting data to work. With a team spread across the US, Europe, and South Asia, her key responsibilities include building Data Platforms by leveraging the cloud-native strategy adopted by GE Healthcare. In addition, she is also responsible for creating Data-based AI/ML Products, Data Analytics, Software Product Development, and building/leading high performing teams globally and in India. She has 24+ years of management experience with deep expertise in developing digital strategies to drive business imperatives.
Asha is passionate about working with early-career talent, academia, and helping with diversity initiatives. She is a Steering Committee member of the CoE for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence by NASSCOM—the apex body for the IT industry in India. Asha is also the recipient of numerous Industry recognitions, the most recent being the “Digital Disruptor” award from IDC.
She holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from IIT Mumbai and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from NIT Calicut.
