Banking on the popularity of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Binance performance marketing manager Stefano Cantù, over the weekend, built a ChatGPT of food recipes, ChefGPT. It is an AI powered meal recipe recommender that helps the user cook delicious meals with the ingredients one has at their disposal. It has already served over 85k dinner recipes so far.
ChefGPT is free to use and can be accessed here.
The tool can also curate meals based on available ingredients, kitchen tools, time and even one’s cooking skills. The tool has been built using OpenAI’s API (backend) and Vercel (frontend).

To use, the user has to first key in what ingredients one has and their specific quantities. Thereafter the user is required to tick the available kitchen tools from the given list, the available time and also specify if the user is a beginner or experienced chef.

This is actually a really good use case, if someone is looking for curated recipes based on their diet, including vegan, vegetarian, keto, etc. However, the app does not have these options yet.
At the moment, the app gives two options to select the desired chef mode: Gourmet Mode and All-in Mode. The Gourmet Mode needs the user to use the best ingredients while for the All-in mode, the user to combine all available ingredients.
People already started using the application to generate recipes and even posted their recipes on Twitter. Cantù said that the tool is being improved and updated.
The latest update on the tool enables users to even share their recipes across various social media platforms.
