Cognizant Acquires Sydney-based Analytics Company Servian To Boost Digital Capabilities

In a recent announcement, Cognizant has entered into an agreement to acquire Sydney-based analytics consulting firm Servian, to enhance its digital portfolio. Servian specialises in the area of data analytics, artificial intelligence, cloud, IoT and other digital services. The financial details of the deal haven’t been disclosed, however, it is expected to close in the first quarter of 2021.

According to the statement released by Cognizant, apart from boosting the digital portfolio, the acquisition will also help in expanding market presence in Australia and New Zealand.

With its 10th digital-focused acquisition by Cognizant since January 2020, the company is strongly focused on accelerating its capabilities in data analytics, AI, digital engineering and other tech. Servian will help Cognizant to drive through these priority areas with its unique offerings.

The company stated that the acquisition of Servian will help Cognizant enhance the end-to-end digital transformation capabilities in Australia and New Zealand to help clients move to the cloud, build digital products and services, unlock value from data, modernise enterprise applications, and achieve operational excellence.
