A study by AIMResearch pointed to approximately 93,500 open jobs in analytics at the end of August 2020. Despite COVID-19 pandemic, India contributed to 9.8% of the total global Analytics job openings in August 2020, a 2.6% jump from January 2020, the study indicated.
The numbers show a massive requirement of data scientists in the industry; however, the supply does not match the demand. Lack of skilled professionals is still an apparent challenge that companies face while recruiting. Other challenges include the need for rapid upskilling to stay updated, lack of experience and most importantly, the lack of guidance to explore the vast domain.
To help professionals with the necessary guidance to make a career in analytics and data science, Analytics India Magazine is organising a new online series called “Deeper Insights.” The series aims to help the data science community and aspiring professionals with insights on what the analytics companies look for while recruiting for their data science team, work culture, open positions, skills required, upskilling in the field and more.
Who Should Attend
