Devendra Sharnagat heads the Analytics and Customer Value Management functions at Kotak Mahindra Bank. His role primarily focuses on harnessing the power of advanced analytics using Machine Learning and Big Data platforms to gain useful analytical insights and operational intelligence to drive business. He is also responsible for driving the next generation digital vision through the adoption of analytics across business applications.
Devendra’s core area of focus involves driving complete automation of direct-to-customer business models powered through advanced analytics that are integrated with digital banking platforms. This also includes the automation of risk and control mechanisms using real-time analytics and driving channel efficiency through data intelligence.
Devendra has been with Kotak Mahindra Bank since 2012. Before Kotak, Devendra worked with HDFC Bank as the vertical head for marketing analytics and campaign operations, where he led many transformational strategic analytical initiatives like analytics & CRM competency creation, business solutions, portfolio management, and customer life cycle management. Before joining HDFC Bank, Devendra was involved in analytical consultancy and project management assignments.
Devendra’s professional qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from ICT (formerly UDCT), Mumbai and a Masters in Management Studies (MMS) from Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai.
