Gunjan Gupta is a Director at Barclays in India. She heads their Collections & Contact Centers Technology organisations for the US business.
Gunjan built her early career in the US, and witnessed and worked through the sub-prime crisis of 2008. During the span of her 18+ years career, she has gained a variety of experiences in the areas of data, analytics, and technology across the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) domain. Gunjan has successfully led, jumpstarted, and scaled up Data, Analytics, & Technology teams for organisations such as HSBC, Fidelity Investments, Genworth Financial (now Enact), and Bajaj Allianz Insurance.
She is a data evangelist and has delivered several use-cases that harnessed and monetised data for organisations. She is an active speaker in industry forums and conferences. In her tenure at Barclays, Gunjan has executed a firm-wide data governance strategy and led a strategic data re-platforming program. In her current role, she is driving the digitisation agenda for the Customer Contact Centers.
She is a strong supporter of Diversity and Inclusion and is the Barclays India lead for the “Bridge” Multigenerational network. She is an alumnus of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and North Carolina State University, USA
