The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K), in partnership with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India and Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), has launched an accelerator programme, LIVE X to support AI/ML startups.
Laboratory for Innovation, Venturing and Entrepreneurship (LIVE), is a business incubator and entrepreneurship development centre of IIM Kozhikode set-up with the support of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
IIM-K Director Debashis Chatterjee said start-ups have become the front runners of the digital transformation wave in the country, and they have been fuelling AI and ML advancements by introducing cutting-edge solutions to solve critical issues.
The four month programme envisions supporting start-ups in their innovation journey by assisting them in several areas, including funding, and networking.

IIM-K LIVE Executive Director Rajesh Upadhyayula said the programme would help build scalable and successful AI and ML-led business models across various business domains.
As per IIM-K, start-ups with early traction in terms of customer and revenue will be given preference for the programme.
