Vishesh C Chandiok

Vishesh C Chandiok co-founded Grant Thornton Bharat LLP in 2001, growing it to nearly 10,000 employees across more than 20 locations in India. Under his tenure, the firm has emerged as one of India’s foremost professional services organisations spanning audit, tax, and advisory.

Chandiok became the youngest member elected to the Global Board of Governors of Grant Thornton International Limited on 1 January 2016, and was later appointed the first Indian council member residing overseas to be initiated into the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), reflecting his standing in the global accounting profession.

He has consistently pushed for enabling conditions to build homegrown Indian professional giants—an Indian ‘Big Four—capable of competing with global firms and amplifying India's voice in international standard-setting. He has called management consulting one of the biggest impact industries for AI adoption, and views technology-led transformation not merely as a business imperative but as central to building a resilient, future-ready India.
