Nagaraj Bhat

Nagaraj Bhat currently serves as Vice President of Global Technology & Business Services at Cardinal Health, a US Fortune 15 Healthcare player and serves as Managing Director of its Global Capability Centre in India.

He is responsible for driving strategy, governance and operations of the multi-functional global capability centre (GCC) spanning across Enterprise IT, Digital & Commercial Technologies, Augmented Intelligence, Digital Health solutions and Business Process management. With a focus on building a world-class capability that is at the intersection of tech-innovation and learning, he is empowering the team to build solutions to help solve healthcare’s most complex challenges.

Previously, Bhat was Head of IT Global Delivery Centres (GDC) in India and near-shore centre in Mexico for Baxter International, where he led the overall strategy, governance and operations of these two centres with a focus on developing and deploying enterprise-wide IT and digital technology solutions that support Baxter business units, functions and regions worldwide. Bhat’s prior roles include Senior Director of Global Information Services at Applied Materials and Director of Technology for US start-up Mi8 Corporation.

Bhat has more than 25 years’ experience in technology and operations across Healthcare, medical devices, start-up, financial services and high-tech semiconductor industries and is a certified business continuity professional. Bhat is an active contributor to several industry initiatives involving Global Capability Centres and is passionate about driving a digital agenda to define the future of healthcare.
