Tilak Banerjee

Tilak Banerjee leads Takeda’s Innovation Capability Centre (ICC) in India, the company’s first ICC in Asia and part of its global network of innovation hubs. In this role, he is responsible for building digital and technology capabilities that support Takeda’s global mission of delivering better health for people and a brighter future for the world. 

The ICC India focuses on areas such as artificial intelligence, device engineering, application virtualisation, and advanced data science, enabling solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support better patient outcomes worldwide. 

With extensive experience in building and transforming Global Capability Centres and shared services organisations, Tilak specialises in creating high-impact operating models that leverage technology, talent, and innovation to drive enterprise transformation. 

Based in Bengaluru, he is focused on developing a purpose-driven innovation ecosystem that combines India’s deep technology talent with Takeda’s global healthcare mission.
