The dynamic co-founder and CEO of LangChain, Harrison Chase is simplifying the creation of applications powered by LLMs. With a background in statistics and computer science from Harvard University, Chase has carved a niche in the AI landscape. Before LangChain, he led the machine learning team at Robust Intelligence and the entity linking team at Kensho, a fintech startup.
βI think at a high level, it means that as humans, we're focusing on just a different set of things. So I think there's a lot of, like, repeated kind of work that goes on in a lot of industries at the moment.β
Chase launched LangChain in October 2022, which quickly gained traction among developers for its modular abstractions and extensive integrations. He envisions LangChain as an orchestration layer, enabling the creation of agents that operate between fully autonomous and controlled decision-making.
