Phanimitra believes that analytics professionals have the best seat in the house to help shape an organisation’s business strategy. Working with global customers across industries leading consulting, strategy development, and driving transformation program teams, Phani always had an underlying theme of leveraging data analytics to design and deliver business outcomes.

As the head of Digital & Analytics at Dr Reddy’s for India and Emerging Markets, he is currently responsible for driving AI-led transformation of Go-To-Market models, Customer Experience and Beyond the Pill initiatives across geographies. Earlier, he led Corporate Strategy & Transformation office as Dr Reddy’s pivoted to a new set of spaces and operating priorities.

Phani joined Dr Reddy’s to set up their Global Analytics CoE and define pioneering use-cases with a clear P&L Impact. He was instrumental in driving investment into technical & functional capabilities- building hybrid-cloud data lakes, digital products seamlessly integrating AI/ML to complement functional experts in R&D and Operations and scaling up the number of business translators through capability interventions.

Before Dr Reddy’s, Phani spent a decade with Hewlett Packard in strategy, M&A integration and consulting roles working with HP Enterprise & Consumer business teams and customers like P&G, GM, J&J across North America and the Asia Pacific regions. He is a speaker at multiple industry forums like Cipher, NASSCOM, academic institutions, and management boards – arguing strongly to recognise the role of “own/partner for data” in creating differentiated customer experience and business value.
