He leads a talented and driven team of data scientists and analytics professionals to draw insights and build actionable models from mostly unstructured data such as text and speech. His focus areas include Natural Language Processing and Understanding (NLP/NLU), Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Vernacular Products Development, BI and Analytics, Visualization, among others. Prior to Amazon, he has worked at Kabbage, where he led the machine and deep learning models development activity across the customer life cycle. He has also been a part of the data science leadership team in Citigroup, Target, Texas Instruments, and few startups in India.
Mukesh Saharan is the AI/ML Lead at PepsiCo and is the primary lead for the advanced analytics team where he builds data science, machine learning and AI capabilities for Pepsico North America market. He is responsible for building the best-in-class team, processes, platform, governance systems while leading multiple machine learning and artificial intelligence initiatives across beverage and foods businesses. He also helps create awareness and influence adoption of AI and ML. He has previously worked with companies like Bridgei2i and TEG Analytics. He has a B.tech from NIT, Tiruchirapalli and MBA from Schulich School of Business – York University.
Prof. Charanpreet Singh is the founder and director at Praxis Business School Foundation. He has been the driving force behind the highly successful Data Science Program offered by Praxis Business School, and is one of the pioneers in this field, having started the Praxis full-time program as early as in 2011. Prof Singh has 30+ years of experience in organizations like British Oxygen, Tata Steel, PwC, HP and Praxis. He has professional and academic interests in the areas of education, learning, data science and communication and has been a mentor to career aspirants across domains. He is a Chevening Scholar of the British Government and has done his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and his MBA from the University of Iowa in the USA.
