Addverb Technologies has announced the appointment of international leadership to strengthen its global expansion efforts and enhance competitive positioning. The company appointed Sylvain Auvray as Chief Design Officer and Phillip Gollan as Chief Service Officer for global operations.
At Addverb, Sylvain will be responsible for developing and implementing the product strategy, right from conceptualisation to product design, automation, prototyping and innovation. Sylvain Auvray brings over 25 years of experience, having served in leadership positions in reputed global industrial machine-making companies and his proven expertise in product development, supplier development, planning, designing, and localising products.
“I am thrilled to be a part of Addverb Technologies and keen on the opportunity to lead a team of passionate engineers that will work on delivering some of the most cutting-edge products in the field of Robotics and material handling automation. I strongly believe that technology can ease the post-pandemic supply chain complexity, and I am looking forward to contributing to the ambitious journey of Addverb,” said Sylvain Auvray, Chief Design Officer, Addverb Technologies, speaking on his appointment.
On the other hand, Phillip Gollan will be responsible for delivering seamless customer service for global deployments of Addverb. Phil will support management to frame Addverb’s growth strategies.
Phillip Gollan, Chief Service Officer, said, “I am really excited about this opportunity. I have established robust support structures for developed and emerging markets in previous roles for B2B machine manufacturers. I firmly believe that it is important to train the customers to operate and manage automated systems efficiently and also provide a human touch through on-site support. The aim is to achieve quick resolution of issues and arrest breakdowns through the quality of on and off-site support. The extent of the service and support will determine the success of any customer deployment.”
These hires come in the backdrop of Addverb’s recent expansion in the markets of Singapore, Europe, and Australia. The move is inspired by a surge in demand for automation and robotics solutions in these markets. The company also plans to set up micro-factories in areas where the demand for its solutions will arise.
Commenting on the expansion and hiring, Sangeet Kumar, CEO, Addverb Technologies, said, “Our ambition is to become one of the top five companies in the global robotics industry, and Sylvain and Phil are fantastic additions to our team.
