In a tweet today, Satya Nadella expressed his grief and tweeted that he is heartbroken by the current situation in India. At present, India is facing an acute crisis of medical oxygen and in order to combat such a situation, Microsoft CEO stated that the tech giant will support the purchase of critical oxygen concentration devices.
In his tweet, he stated, “I am heartbroken by the current situation in India. I’m grateful the U.S. government is mobilizing to help. Microsoft will continue to use its voice, resources, and technology to aid relief efforts, and support the purchase of critical oxygen concentration devices.”
Besides filling the gap of oxygen concentrators in India, the tech giant stated that it will continue to use its voice, resources, and technology to aid relief efforts. Last year, the tech giant helped to combat the deadly virus by various means, such as accessing free online learning courses, help to learn digital skills, among others.
According to sources, Nadella has also highlighted the efforts the US government is making towards India’s worsening Covid-19 situation. The US government has finally steered away from the “America First” stance after the controversies and said it will help India.
