Singapore-based venture capital firm Jungle Ventures has led a $1 million (Rs 6.3 crore) funding round in Indian data intelligence startup Tookitaki. Japanese seed investor Rebright Partners and existing investor Blume Ventures also participated in the round.
The company will use the capital on research and development of products and expansion in markets of Southeast Asia and Japan. “Japanbased customers are great prospects for Tookitaki’s products and we are excited to join the round and help the company realise its potential,” said Takeshi Ebihara, founding general partner at Rebright Partners.

Tookitaki, which has offices in India, Singapore and the US, is building a consumer-insights platform that answers key decisions related to product sales, market share, customer growth and relevant consumer behavior for an enterprise. It is a platform to customers across industries such as ecommerce, travel, automobiles and consumer goods.
