I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC), the Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) of IIT Delhi, has teamed up with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) to build curriculum for schools affiliated with the CISCE in new-age technologies, such as robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science. Gerry Arathoon, CE&S, CISCE, stated the CISCE plans to introduce the subjects - of robotics & artificial intelligence at the ICSE (Classes IX & X) and ISC (Classes XI & XII) levels.

Ashutosh Dutt Sharma, CEO, IHFC, indicated that the IHFC may also play a key role in executing a similar role in more than 2700 schools affiliated to the CISCE and provide them with guidance to implement the same.

IHFC works in the area of Collaborative Robotics (COBOTICS). It has been set up as the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the government's National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS).

Last year, the Central Board of Secondary Education collaborated with Intel to launch an artificial intelligence learning community and platform called AI Students Community (AISC). It has already introduced AI as a subject for classes IX and XI in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
