Google Cloud has launched its own cloud diagramming tool that helps users reach from the idea to the implementation phase. This tool focuses on the implementation strategy used to create an architectural diagram; this enables the user to share the vision with the team, collaborate with them, iterate on the design, and create the final version that best meets the requirements for the business use case.
This tool eliminates the need to have a proper workflow before starting on the project. The user can start from a blank canvas and use a reference architecture as a starting point and tweak it further to fit the project. The cloud architecture diagramming tool has one-click deploy solutions to get all the architectural components into the project.
Some of the key features of the Architecture Diagramming Tool are:
- Build architecture diagrams - The interface lists all the google cloud products and services in one spot. They are organised by category (compute, database, and so on), and the products can also be searched individually. No need to worry about finding the right icon or uploading an image from somewhere else – just focus on building the architecture with the components needed in the interface. The interface also lets the user share their diagram with the team and colleagues or add it to documentation.

- Access prebuilt reference architectures - Sometimes, a sample is required to get a frame of reference. So the tool includes over ten prebuilt reference architectures for common use cases such as data science, machine learning, websites, CI/CD, microservices, computing, and more.

- Deploy with one click - Once the architecture is ready, it can be deployed on the google cloud with a single click. There are also a few full architecture examples that can be deployed for reference.

The Architecture Diagramming tool is integrated with the Google Cloud Developer Cheat Sheet, so one can easily check out the four-word descriptions and documentation linked to each component of your diagram.
