HCLTech has announced an expanded collaboration with Google Cloud to accelerate enterprise adoption of Agentic AI across industries, using Gemini models to build custom AI agents for global clients.
As part of this, HCLTech will deploy Gemini Enterprise and Gemini models to develop AI agents that embed artificial intelligence into enterprise systems, workflows and decision-making processes. The collaboration will also leverage Google Workspace to strengthen collaboration and security as enterprises scale AI-led transformation.
Many of the AI agents developed by HCLTech are already available on the Google Cloud Marketplace.
The companies said the partnership formalises a structured programme aimed at accelerating client adoption of generative AI and Agentic AI while building a larger ecosystem of Google Cloud specialists within HCLTech. The initiative will support more than 2,000 GenAI-led customer engagements globally.
The collaboration will focus on multiple areas including solution innovation, expansion of agentic AI capabilities, talent development and the launch of physical AI innovation hubs.
HCLTech said its AI Force platform will integrate with Google’s Gemini family of models and Gemini Code Assist to transform software development and IT operations. The partnership will also support enterprise migrations to Google Cloud from platforms such as Oracle, SAP and VMware, alongside security transformation initiatives.
The company will also expand its Agentic Center of Excellence, developing industry-specific AI agents and advancing existing solutions such as Insight for manufacturing and Netsight for telecommunications.
As part of the collaboration, the companies plan to launch “Gemini Experience Zones” — physical innovation hubs at key global locations to showcase AI capabilities and accelerate enterprise experimentation.
HCLTech also plans to significantly expand its Google Cloud-certified workforce from 12,000 to more than 35,000 professionals over the next three years, strengthening its talent pipeline to support enterprise AI deployments.
“This strategic collaboration reinforces the strength of our partnership and shared vision with Google Cloud to help enterprises scale AI adoption in alignment with their business objectives,” said Vijay Guntur, CTO and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech. “We are excited to bring our joint capabilities to life across industries, helping clients unlock new efficiencies, insights and growth.”
“HCLTech is bringing Gemini Enterprise to more customers through its industry solutions,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, President, Global Ecosystem and Channels at Google Cloud. “With over 23,000 Google Cloud-trained experts and deep AI implementation expertise, HCLTech is delivering high-impact, production-ready AI agents to enterprises today.”
