Industrial robotics startup ANSCER Robotics has raised $5.4 million (about ₹45 crore) in a Series A funding round led by IAN Alpha Fund, with participation from Info Edge and other angel investors.
The Bengaluru-based company will use the funding to strengthen its product platform, expand operations in the United States, and grow its partner ecosystem across global markets.
The funding comes as industries face labour shortages, supply chain disruptions, and pressure to improve operational efficiency. ANSCER said it aims to address low automation adoption in warehouses and factories through connected automation systems that reduce manual work and improve productivity. According to the company, nearly 80% of warehouses still operate with little to no automation, citing McKinsey & Company data.
“Industrial automation is entering a new era where machines are moving beyond following instructions toward understanding context, learning from operations, and working alongside enterprise intelligence,” said Ribin Mathew, CEO of ANSCER Robotics.
He added that the company plans to scale its India-built automation platform globally and make advanced automation more accessible for industrial customers.
The startup also recently opened a manufacturing facility in Bengaluru with a 20,000 square feet testing zone where robots undergo performance and endurance testing before deployment. The company said the facility can manufacture more than 1,000 robots annually to support deployments across factories and warehouses.
The facility will support its partner-led deployments as it expands globally. It also plans to accelerate the development of next-generation automation systems for connected industrial environments.
“Industrial automation is rapidly evolving from a focus on efficiency to becoming a strategic driver of resilience, intelligence, and competitiveness for global enterprises,” said Rajnish Kapur, Managing Partner at IAN Alpha Fund.
He said ANSCER’s combination of robotics, software, and deployment capabilities positioned it to address growing global demand for automation systems.
Founded in 2020 by Ribin Mathew, Ebin Sunny, Raghu V and Raj Mohan, ANSCER Robotics builds autonomous robots and software systems for factories and warehouses. The company operates from Bengaluru and maintains a sales and support office in Dallas, serving customers across the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
