Bharat1 AI Research and Innovation City (B1 AI City) has announced the launch of the B1 AI Superpark in Bengaluru in collaboration with NVIDIA, marking one of India’s largest dedicated AI innovation campuses.
The five lakh-square-foot superpark will serve as the foundation for a proposed four-million-square-foot AI district in the heart of Bengaluru’s tech corridor near Sarjapura. Designed as a digital-physical ecosystem, B1 AI City aims to host over 25,000 AI researchers and engineers, with infrastructure for AI labs, startups, product companies, and applied research centres. The broader campus is projected to generate nearly one exabyte of 4D data annually to power frontier AI research.
Through its collaboration with NVIDIA, B1 AI Superpark will integrate the company’s accelerated computing stack, AI software, and infrastructure to support Indian startups building for global markets.
Startups within the ecosystem will gain access to the NVIDIA Inception programme, which offers technical enablement, go-to-market support, and investor connections through the Inception VC Alliance. The partnership will also connect founders to NVIDIA’s global developer, enterprise, and technology partner ecosystem.
Subhashis Banerjee, Co-Founder of B1 AI Superpark, said the initiative addresses structural gaps faced by Indian AI startups, particularly in accessing advanced compute, global enterprise customers, and long-term capital. “We are building and funding AI startups from the world’s most tech talent-dense country, Bharat, in its most talent-dense city, Bengaluru,” he said, adding that the collaboration will help scale sustainable, humanity-first AI solutions globally.
Tobias Halloran, Director of EMEAI Startups and Venture Capital at NVIDIA, said India’s AI startup ecosystem is primed for rapid acceleration, driven by strong technical talent and global ambition. He noted that access to scalable AI infrastructure and venture networks will help founders scale faster.
The announcement comes amid growing national momentum around AI development, including initiatives under the Indian government’s IndiaAI Mission, positioning Bengaluru as a central node in India’s expanding AI landscape.
