Bosch Software and Digital Solutions has partnered with NxtGen Datacenter and Cloud Technologies to launch a sovereign industrial AI cloud designed to support India’s growing Industry 4.0 ecosystem.
The collaboration will combine Bosch SDS’s manufacturing AI platforms with NxtGen’s sovereign cloud infrastructure to enable Indian enterprises to deploy advanced artificial intelligence workloads while keeping data within the country.
The initiative aims to bring digital twin-driven manufacturing intelligence to the Indian industry, integrating Bosch SDS’s Industry 4.0, simulation and engineering platforms with NxtGen’s multi-region sovereign cloud and edge data centre infrastructure.
The companies said the partnership will enable enterprises to adopt AI-enabled predictive maintenance, asset optimisation and edge-to-cloud industrial data orchestration. It will also allow businesses to run high-performance AI workloads while complying with India’s data residency and security requirements.
As part of the initiative, the companies plan to jointly develop a Digital Twin Manufacturing Cloud, combining Bosch SDS’s industrial IoT and simulation capabilities with NxtGen’s GPU-as-a-Service infrastructure and orchestration stack.
The platform is intended to help manufacturers modernise operations while maintaining control over sensitive operational data, including deployments at factory sites through edge environments managed with centralised monitoring and orchestration.
Under the agreement, NxtGen will provide managed GPU infrastructure services, including provisioning, lifecycle management, security monitoring, performance optimisation and Kubernetes-based orchestration for AI workloads. Bosch SDS will contribute domain-specific AI applications, engineering expertise and platform integration capabilities.
The companies will also collaborate on joint go-to-market initiatives, co-develop sector-specific solutions and introduce flexible deployment models for enterprises.
Ramesh Ramaswamy, chief revenue officer at Bosch SDS, said the partnership would allow enterprises to deploy GPU infrastructure at customer premises through edge data centre and cloud-at-customer models while maintaining centralised management.
He added that Bosch SDS aims to help companies move beyond conventional digital transformation by integrating AI and machine learning into what he described as an “agentic AI” journey focused on model orchestration, inference pipelines and performance optimisation.
AS Rajgopal, Managing Director and CEO of NxtGen, said industries such as manufacturing and retail are rapidly shifting from analytics dashboards to real-time AI-driven operational control.
“That shift requires infrastructure that is local, predictable and production-grade,” he said, adding that hosting Bosch SDS’s platforms on NxtGen’s infrastructure would allow enterprises to move from experimental AI deployments to sovereign, mission-critical systems.
