Chiratae Ventures has launched its Sonic DeepTech 2026 cohort in Bengaluru, investing up to $10 million in Ctrl B, Interact AI, SuprSend, TakeMe2Space, SuprSend, and a stealth startup.
The startups in this batch will have access to NVIDIA Inception resources to help them enhance technical innovation and business growth at every stage. Benefits include advanced AI developer tools, training, discounted pricing on NVIDIA products, exclusive partner deals, and connections to a global network of investors and industry players.
TakeMe2Space is developing nanosatellite infrastructure for edge AI computing and Earth observation, facilitating interconnected data systems. CtrlB has created a serverless data lake platform that reduces costs for observability data storage and analytics with a cloud-native, diskless architecture.
Interact AI offers an advanced AI avatar that enhances traditional chatbots, providing audio-visual, product-aware conversational agents for sales and marketing. SuprSend has built a multi-channel notification infrastructure that simplifies communications through a single API. The final investment is in a stealth vertical AI platform.
"India is in a unique position right now, with a wealth of talent, research momentum, and founders creating potentially category-defining DeepTech companies. Through Sonic, India's premier DeepTech investment initiative in partnership with NVIDIA, Chiratae is stimulating this ecosystem for global scaling," Sudhir Sethi, Founder of Chiratae Ventures, said in a statement.
The Sonic DeepTech programme is aimed at supporting founders facing complex challenges in traditionally neglected sectors, offering up to $2 million in seed funding with decision timelines as short as 48 hours.
The programme focuses on areas where Chiratae Ventures believes India can emerge as a global leader, including energy and climate, quantum technologies, robotics and advanced manufacturing, space technologies, applied AI/ML, biotech and medtech, and the digital economy. Besides financial backing, it also links founders with industry partners and ecosystem networks to expedite their scaling journey.
In addition to the investments made, the programme recognised 14 Sonic DeepTech Disrupters—startups showing promise across the programme’s deeptech focus areas.
Chiratae's Sonic DeepTech programme will reopen applications later this year to support more startups.
