Coforge has secured a $158 million five-year contract from a UK-based client, further strengthening its large-deal momentum in Europe.
IT companies are increasingly looking at Europe for mega deals, following the proposed India-EU deal. Earlier this week, its competitor LTM landed a $100-million deal with a European medtech company to support the development of core hearing wearable devices.
Coforge’s contract will commence in April 2026, with revenue accruing evenly over the five-year term, the company said in a statement.
It added that it expects “material expansion of ancillary revenue around this core contract over the next five years from the same client,” indicating potential upsell opportunities linked to the engagement.
The company’s shares were up 0.53% on the NSE at 2:11 pm on Wednesday. They had reached an intra-day high of 3.6%.
John Speight, President and Europe Business Leader at Coforge, said the company is witnessing stronger deal activity in the region, driven by artificial intelligence-led transformation mandates.
“AI-led conversations focused on driving innovation, improving governance, and resiliency are helping drive a material increase in the number and median size of large deals in play across Europe. Our five key AI-based platforms—Forge-X, EvolveOps.AI, BlueSwan, Quasar, and Data Cosmos—have set us up very nicely to address these asks,” Speight said.
The company did not disclose the name of the UK client.
The Americas continue to dominate geographically, with 56.8% topline contribution to Coforge, while Europe, the Middle East, and Africa contributed 28.5%.
Coforge reported a steady December quarter (Q3), earning ₹4,188 crore in revenue from operations—a 5.1% rise over the previous quarter.
Order intake was the key highlight. Coforge signed six large deals during the quarter and reported total order intake of $593 million. Its executable order book for the next twelve months rose to $1.72 billion, up more than 30% from a year ago.
