AI-powered content creation platform Gamma has unveiled “Gamma Imagine”, a new AI-powered design tool that allows users to create standalone, on-brand visual assets directly within its platform.
The launch moves Gamma beyond its core offerings of presentations and documents into the broader visual design category, positioning it more directly against traditional design software. The company said the tool is built to function as an “AI-native” designer, automatically applying brand elements such as colours and visual identity, while allowing users to refine outputs using natural language prompts.
Gamma Imagine provides multiple creative variations for each asset, alongside the option to upload reference images to maintain stylistic consistency. The tool supports the creation of logos, infographics, diagrams, social media graphics, and other visual content.
Among the new features are remixable templates, enabling users to adapt existing designs or choose from over 100 professionally built templates. Additional capabilities include “Smart Charts” for branded data visualisation, AI-generated illustrations, and infographic creation from simple text descriptions.
Gamma is also expanding its integration ecosystem, embedding its functionality within widely used workplace tools and AI systems. New integrations include ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier, Atlassian, and others, allowing users to generate Gamma content directly from their existing workflows.
“We built Gamma around the belief that anyone should be able to communicate visually without needing a design background,” Grant Lee, Co-founder and CEO of Gamma, said in a statement. “With this launch, the gap between an idea and a ready-to-share output is virtually nothing.”
To coincide with the release, Lee has begun a global user tour across Seoul, London, and São Paulo to further Gamma’s international reach. The company said over 80% of its nearly 100 million users are based outside the United States.
Founded in 2020, Gamma has rapidly scaled its user base and now sees more than a million pieces of content generated daily. The company is backed by investors, including Andreessen Horowitz and Accel.
