Dabur India has partnered with Accenture to accelerate AI adoption across its operations as part of a multi-year digital transformation initiative to improve decision-making, business agility, and long-term profitability.
The collaboration will focus on building a unified data foundation and embedding AI into core business processes across functions including finance, procurement, marketing, sales, and supply chain management.
As part of the initiative, Accenture will help Dabur create a centralised data lake by integrating internal, external, structured, and unstructured datasets. The company will also deploy control towers and digital dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators, enabling faster responses to changing market conditions.
The project will leverage advanced analytics and AI to identify revenue growth opportunities, optimise costs, improve demand forecasting, and enhance end-to-end operational visibility. Dabur also plans to roll out generative AI-powered conversational assistants that will allow employees to access insights and query enterprise data more efficiently.
“By building a digital brain on strong data foundations and advanced AI, we are embedding intelligence across the enterprise. Our collaboration with Accenture will help us sense demand more accurately, respond with greater agility and deliver sharper insights with stronger governance,” Manas Mehra, Global Chief Information Officer, Dabur India, said in a statement.
The initiative builds on Dabur’s earlier investments in cloud infrastructure and digital core modernisation. The company said the collaboration will prioritise outcome-based use cases focused on value realisation, spend optimisation, and EBITDA margin expansion.
Accenture will also support Dabur in redesigning talent strategies, operating models, and governance frameworks to sustain AI adoption at scale.
“FMCG companies are navigating increasing complexity, from diversified portfolios to fast-changing consumer expectations,” said Ankur Chaudhary, Managing Director and Lead for Products Group, India Business, Accenture.
“Dabur’s AI-led reinvention is both timely and strategic. By strengthening its data foundation and embedding AI into core processes, Dabur can make faster decisions, improve demand sensing and build more resilient operations, creating a stronger platform for purpose-led, profitable growth,” he added.
The partnership extends Dabur’s ongoing digital transformation journey with Accenture and reflects a broader trend among Indian FMCG companies adopting AI to improve operational efficiency, demand planning, and business resilience.
