UK-based enterprise database management company DSP has entered India with the launch of its first overseas global capability centre (GCC) in Bengaluru, marking a key step in its international expansion strategy.
The new centre will focus on delivering managed services, database consultancy, and cloud solutions across Oracle, Microsoft, and multi-cloud environments. It will support global clients in managing mission-critical database infrastructure and developing enterprise-scale technology solutions.
The India centre has been set up in partnership with SansoviGCC by GoodWorks Group and will be hosted at GoodWorks GCC Nexus in Prestige Tech Park, Bengaluru.
The facility was inaugurated by Sanjeev Gupta, CEO of Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), along with KT Rajan, Director of Technology, Innovation, Education and Skills at the British Deputy High Commission, and other industry representatives.
Speaking at the inauguration, DSP Group Chief Operating Officer Paul Cocks said Bengaluru’s talent ecosystem made it a strategic choice for expansion, adding that the GCC will strengthen the company’s consulting and technology capabilities across the Oracle ecosystem. He said the centre will play a key role in combining global expertise with local talent to deliver value to clients worldwide.
Officials from KDEM said DSP’s entry reflects growing global confidence in Bengaluru as a GCC hub, highlighting the state’s deep talent pool and established innovation ecosystem.
Industry partners, including GoodWorks Group, said the centre would enhance DSP’s ability to scale operations in enterprise database management and cloud services.
DSP, headquartered in the United Kingdom and founded in 1999, provides managed services, consulting, and support for Oracle, SQL Server, and multi-cloud technologies. The company serves clients across start-ups, mid-market firms, and large enterprises in Europe and North America.
