US-based telecommunications company TMUS Global Solutions (T-Mobile USA) has inaugurated its Global Technology Centre in Hyderabad, encompassing a new 2.5 lakh sq ft facility.

T-Mobile, one of the largest wireless network operators in the United States, serves over 140 million customers and powers next-generation connectivity solutions.

During the inauguration, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Telangana’s Information Technology, Electronics, Communications, Industries and Commerce, and Legislative Affairs Minister, stated, “When they committed to building from Hyderabad, we promised them access to the best technology talent in the country. Today, seeing them onboard hundreds of skilled professionals and establish one of their fastest-growing centres in such a short span is a strong validation of Hyderabad’s ability to deliver world-class talent at scale.”

The new facility will function as a strategic innovation hub, developing capabilities across software engineering, cloud platforms, data analytics, cybersecurity, DevOps, automation, AI, and next-generation digital solutions. It is expected to scale operations to nearly 1,000 employees by 2027.

Chandra Gupta, Vice President, Information Technology, TMUS Global Solutions, said, “Hyderabad offers a strong combination of technology talent, innovation capabilities, and an established ecosystem that aligns with our long-term goals. Our Global Technology Centre in Hyderabad will play an important role in strengthening our engineering and digital capabilities, while enabling teams to build solutions that support our customers and business priorities.”

Hyderabad continues to attract Fortune 500 companies establishing specialised technology centres beyond traditional outsourcing, spanning sectors such as telecom, life sciences, retail, FMCG, travel, and hospitality.

With this addition, Hyderabad now hosts over 450 GCCs employing more than 3,00,000 professionals, further consolidating its status as a leading global technology hub.
