Emergent, an agentic vibe coding startup, has announced it has achieved an annual run rate (ARR) of $100 million just 8 months after its launch, making it one of the fastest AI-native platforms to reach this milestone.
According to the company, this accomplishment was driven by significant growth over the last month, during which Emergent's ARR increased from $50 million to $100 million. This achievement positions the company as the fastest AI-native technology firm in India to reach this revenue milestone, underscoring the growing acceptance of AI-driven software development.
Mukund Jha, Co-Founder and CEO of Emergent, said in a statement, “Crossing $100 million in ARR so soon isn’t just a milestone, it’s proof that the way people want to build software is changing. We set out to remove the complexity and guesswork from software creation, and the market has responded with tremendous speed and confidence. Builders aren’t waiting months or years anymore, they’re shipping real, revenue-generating products in weeks, and that’s what’s driving this growth.”
The announcement was made during the India AI Impact Summit, as Emergent continues to establish a global presence in India. So far, more than 6 million builders in over 190 countries have developed over 7 million applications using the platform.
In addition to the ARR milestone, Emergent introduced its mobile application, enabling software development beyond desktop environments.
With this new offering, business owners and entrepreneurs can create iOS and Android applications and publish them directly to the App Store and Play Store, positioning Emergent as the only platform that enables anyone to develop and release web, iOS, and Android applications comprehensively through its sophisticated agentic software creation platform.
The recent ARR milestone builds upon Emergent’s robust investor support disclosed earlier this year. In January 2026, the company secured $70 million in a Series B funding round led by Khosla Ventures and the SoftBank Vision Fund 2, with contributions from Prosus, Lightspeed, Together, and Y Combinator, bringing its total capital raised to $100 million to date.
At that time, Emergent had achieved a $50 million annual run rate in just seven months since launch.
