Genpact Expands Partnership with Google Cloud to Build AI Agents for Finance Operations
By Prachi Pradhan ·

Genpact has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to develop and scale AI-powered solutions for finance operations, especially for the ‘Office of the CFO’. The announcement, made on May 8, focuses on helping companies move from small AI experiments to large-scale ‘agentic AI’ systems that can automate and improve financial workflows.
Under the expanded alliance, Genpact will combine its expertise in finance and business operations with Google Cloud’s AI and cloud technologies to create AI agents that can assist finance teams in tasks such as forecasting, cash flow management, accounts payable and financial planning.
Kevin Ichhpurani, President of Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud, said, “The collaboration will help businesses deploy AI in real production environments rather than limiting it to pilot projects.” He added that Genpact’s industry expertise brings “critical industry context to core finance workflows” and that Google Cloud is pleased to expand the partnership through its Agent Marketplace.
The first solution launched under the partnership is called ‘Genpact Finance One - Revenue Lens Agents’. It is now available through Google Cloud’s Agent Marketplace and is designed to help companies improve revenue forecasting, manage cash flow more efficiently, and reduce manual work for finance teams.
Vijay Vijayasankar, Global Agentic AI Officer at Genpact, noted that many CFOs have experimented with AI but very few have fully AI-powered finance functions. The partnership aims to close the gap between AI promises and actual business results. According to him, the AI agents are designed to “execute, learn, connect and deliver outcomes.”
Genpact also plans to introduce more AI-driven finance tools in the future covering areas such as record-to-report operations, accounts payable, and financial analysis.
The companies said they are already working with major global enterprises across healthcare, retail and pharmaceutical sectors to modernise finance operations and improve productivity using AI-powered workflows.
