Google Cloud has entered a multi-year strategic partnership with Brahma AI to develop and deploy high-fidelity digital humans, designed to transform how organisations communicate with global audiences.
Announced on March 10, the collaboration aims to enable enterprises to convert complex audiovisual data into interactive, human-centric experiences through hyper-realistic digital identities known as ‘ATMANS’. These digital humans replicate the likeness and persona of real individuals, enabling organisations to communicate across languages and geographies while maintaining the authenticity of face-to-face interactions.
Under the partnership, Brahma AI will build its platform natively on Google Cloud’s infrastructure while integrating its advanced generative AI technologies, including the Gemini multimodal model and the Veo video generation system. The combination is designed to produce what the companies describe as ‘movie-quality’ interactive digital humans at enterprise scale.
Prabhu Narasimhan, CEO of Brahma AI, said companies increasingly require AI systems that combine creative capability with strong governance and identity safeguards. “Enterprises today are more ambitious than ever in how they leverage audiovisual data,” he said. “They don’t just need AI generation; they need systems they can trust and quality they can stand behind.”
The companies say the technology could be deployed across several industries. In healthcare, hospitals could create digital versions of physicians to guide patients through procedures and recovery in their native languages. Media companies and studios could use digital identities of performers to localise marketing campaigns globally while preserving the original actor’s expressions and emotional nuance.
In sport and retail, athletes and product specialists could interact with audiences and customers through personalised digital avatars, enabling organisations to scale engagement while retaining individual identity.
The platform also incorporates governance tools designed to address concerns around synthetic media. Individuals retain control over how their digital likeness is used, with consent mechanisms embedded throughout the creation and distribution process. Each generated asset will also contain an invisible digital watermark based on the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity standards, enabling organisations to track provenance and verify authenticity.
Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, said the partnership reflects the growing importance of responsible generative AI infrastructure for enterprise deployment.
“Generative AI is fundamentally changing how enterprises engage with audiences,” he said. “By building on Google Cloud and leveraging models such as Gemini and Veo, Brahma AI can deliver high-fidelity interactive content grounded in trust.”
Brahma AI’s technology draws on visual-effects innovations that contributed to films such as Interstellar and Dune, bringing cinematic-grade digital production tools to enterprise applications.
