Deep Algorithm, an AI-driven cybersecurity and digital trust startup, has raised ₹16 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures.
The round also saw participation from SB Investment (UAE), Prakash Govindan, Chief Executive of Gradiant in the United States, and Himanshu Singhal, Chief Executive of inMorphis in India.
The company will deploy the capital to expand into international markets, accelerate product development, and strengthen its platform with next-generation features designed to address evolving identity and AI-driven security threats.
Founded in 2021 by JP Mishra and a team of technologists and cyber experts, Deep Algorithm operates on a B2B model, offering enterprise-grade security products to clients across the BFSI, fintech, and enterprise sectors. Its flagship offering, adapID-AI, is an adaptive behavioural intelligence identity engine that continuously models identity behaviour across systems, detecting compromised credentials, lateral movement, insider threats, and anomalous access before exploitation occurs.
The company's second key product, BotShield-AI, is built for zero-day threat prevention, DDoS mitigation, and runtime application protection. Its BotShield AI CTEM module functions as a fully autonomous agentic AI platform that continuously learns an organisation's environment, simulates adversary behaviour, and deploys defences without requiring human input.
The company holds proprietary, patented capabilities in behavioural biometrics and said it has pioneered Continuous Identity Risk Management (CIRM)—a discipline centred on behaviour-driven, continuous risk intelligence across both human and machine identities, including the rapidly growing agentic AI workforce.
"Continuous monitoring of human–machine interactions is critical to securing the enterprise digital landscape. Agentic identity security is not just a capability—it represents the future of behavioural intelligence, and we are building the foundation for it," JP Mishra, Founder and Chief Executive of Deep Algorithm, commented in a statement.
Mishra added, "As we continue to scale, we are also preparing to announce the launch of our adapID AI CIRM Platform for Agentic Identity, a first-of-its-kind solution purpose-built for the age of AI agents."
Deep Algorithm's current client base includes Canara Bank, Karnataka Bank, DCB Bank, CSB, NCRTC, and BVH, with ongoing discussions and proof-of-concept engagements underway with additional banks, defence organisations, and government bodies.
Anil Joshi, Managing Partner at Unicorn India Ventures, who led the round, said, "Cybersecurity-as-a-service is witnessing increasing demand as threat actors evolve and raise the stakes with AI and agentic AI. Recognising the urgency for action, Deep Algorithms is building products that address a growing enterprise blind spot."
This latest round follows a previous raise of ₹10.8 crore from Unicorn India Ventures.
