KühlTherm, a startup based in Ahmedabad that builds precision liquid cooling hardware and software for AI data centres, has launched Made-in-India Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHx) and Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs), alongside an integrated liquid cooling validation laboratory, as India sees rising demand for high-density computing infrastructure.
The RDHx captures heat directly from the rear of a server rack before it enters the facility, while the CDU manages coolant flow, temperature and pressure. Both systems will be integrated with KühlTherm’s proprietary AI-powered thermal intelligence platform, NexusFlow OS.
NexusFlow OS combines thermal and power intelligence to provide visibility, predictive optimisation and autonomous orchestration across a data centre’s liquid cooling infrastructure. The company said its new Ahmedabad laboratory will enable products to be tested under real-world conditions before deployment.
“The new RDHx and CDU are a part of our goal to help our customers confidently adopt next-generation cooling technologies, while strengthening India's position in the global thermal management ecosystem,” said Shailesh Bishnoi, Founder and CEO, KühlTherm. He added that as AI, high-performance computing and data-centre infrastructure evolve, demand for efficient and reliable liquid cooling solutions is expected to grow.
KühlTherm currently has 300MW of manufacturing capacity and is targeting 2GW by 2027. The company designs and manufactures its complete thermal loop for AI data centres in India, from chip to chiller.
The company said its systems are being engineered for Indian data-centre conditions, including local climate, grid fluctuations and infrastructure requirements, with the aim of improving deployment speed, serviceability and cost efficiency.
The launch follows KühlTherm’s $1.1 million seed funding round led by Arkam Ventures to scale its liquid cooling solutions for AI data centres, hyperscale infrastructure and other high-density computing environments.
As AI and GPU-led workloads increase compute density, data-centre operators are increasingly looking for cooling systems that can support higher performance, uptime and energy efficiency. KühlTherm’s portfolio includes Direct-to-Chip cooling, RDHx, immersion cooling systems, CDUs and NexusFlow OS.
