LPL Financial, a leading wealth management firm and Fortune 500 company, has inaugurated its global capability centre (GCC) in Hyderabad and appointed Ramesh Kaza as executive VP and Head of Country.
The Hyderabad GCC will play a critical role in supporting LPL Financial’s long-term growth and innovation strategy. Over the next three to five years, the company expects to create hundreds of roles across technology, operations, product development, data and analytics, and risk management, leveraging Hyderabad’s deep talent pool, strong infrastructure, and business continuity advantages.
The centre will focus on building integrated, next-generation technology capabilities, including network security, core infrastructure, AI engineering, data platforms, middleware, and software development. The GCC is currently hiring skilled engineers and technologists to support these initiatives.
“The LPL Financial GCC will leverage the impressive talent in Hyderabad, enabling us to build integrated teams focused on creating next-gen technology that sets a new standard in financial services,” Greg Gates, Chief Technology and Information Officer for LPL Financial, said in a statement.
LPL Financial Holdings supports more than 32,000 financial advisors and approximately 1,200 financial institutions, managing $2.4 trillion in assets on behalf of nearly 8 million people. The firm provides an advanced financial technology platform that enables advisors to deliver personalised financial planning and investment solutions to their clients.
Kaza joins LPL from the financial services company State Street, where he most recently served as Chief Information Officer for India. Prior to that, he spent nearly 16 years at Bank of America in senior global technology and governance roles, and earlier held strategic positions at Fidelity Investments and GE Capital.
“Innovation is the cornerstone of the firm’s strategy, and the LPL Financial Global Capability Center in Hyderabad will unlock more ways for the company to grow,” Kaza said.
