LTM, the technology services company formerly known as LTIMindtree, has partnered with US-based artificial intelligence startup Cognition to integrate its AI software engineering agent Devin into the company's cybersecurity platform, making it the latest Indian IT firm to commercialise autonomous AI agents for enterprise clients.
The partnership will initially focus on banks and financial institutions, where the companies said they will use Devin through LTM's BlueVerse RightLogic platform, an AI-led cybersecurity assessment and risk assurance framework, to identify, prioritise, and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities across applications, AI systems, and software supply chains.
Under the partnership, BlueVerse RightLogic will ingest vulnerability data from enterprises' existing security tools, prioritise issues based on business criticality and regulatory exposure, and assign high-confidence fixes to Devin for automated remediation. Human engineers will continue to review fixes before deployment and handle more complex cases, according to the companies.
“The financial services sector is under constant pressure to strengthen security while accelerating AI adoption. Through BlueVerse RightLogic and Devin, we are helping clients reduce vulnerability backlogs, automate remediation, and improve cyber resilience across financial services, empowering them to innovate faster without compromising security,” Harsh Naidu, Chief Business Officer – Banking & Financial Services, LTM, said in a statement.
LTM and Cognition said the platform is designed to increase the proportion of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) that can be remediated from around 60% to 80%, although they did not disclose customer deployments or financial terms of the partnership.
As part of the partnership, LTM and Cognition will jointly offer five AI-led services spanning autonomous security remediation, legacy application modernisation, software development lifecycle (SDLC) automation, technology and business transformation, and database and ETL migration to modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake. The offerings are aimed at helping enterprises automate software engineering, modernise legacy systems, and accelerate AI adoption.
LTM also said it has already trained a large pool of engineers on Devin through workshops, enabling deployment teams to work with the AI agent without an extended onboarding period.
"Security has become a volume problem that no human team can staff its way out of. Devin lets security teams move from reporting issues to resolving them, and LTM brings the expertise and customer relationships to deliver that outcome at enterprise scale," said Gardner Johnson, Global Head of Partnerships, Cognition.
The announcement comes as IT services companies increasingly look to move beyond AI-assisted coding tools towards autonomous AI agents capable of executing software engineering tasks with limited human intervention. Firms including TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and HCLTech have been investing in agentic AI offerings as enterprises seek measurable productivity gains from generative AI deployments.
