LTM, formerly LTIMindtree, has introduced an outcome-based pricing framework for AI engagements, as technology services providers look to move away from traditional effort-linked billing models in the agentic AI era.
The company launched BlueVerse Currency, a commercial model that ties pricing to measurable business outcomes instead of the amount of work or resources consumed.
The offering is designed for enterprises deploying AI agents across core business processes and comes as IT services firms increasingly experiment with new contracting structures to capture productivity gains generated by artificial intelligence.
According to the company, the model combines multiple elements of its BlueVerse AI stack, including human expertise, reusable technology assets, AI agents, orchestration platforms and computing resources, into a single commercial framework.
LTM said the model introduces outcome-linked pricing tied to business results and allows clients and service providers to share productivity gains generated through AI deployments.
It also supports the reallocation of resources during the course of a contract and enables savings from AI-driven efficiencies to be redirected towards new projects and innovation initiatives.
The pricing framework is built on a hybrid structure comprising fixed and variable components and can be applied across areas such as application development and maintenance, business transformation programmes and AI engineering engagements.
“Enterprises are increasingly looking to align technology investments more closely with measurable business outcomes,” Venu Lambu, CEO and Managing Director, LTM, said in a statement. “BlueVerse Currency brings together talent, plaƞorms, and intelligent agents into a unified commercial model—enabling clients to move from input-based constructs to outcome-led value creation.”
With enterprises seeking clearer returns on AI investments, outcome-based commercial models are expected to gain traction, particularly in engagements where automation and AI-led productivity improvements can be measured and linked to business metrics.
LTM employs more than 87,000 people across 40 countries and has positioned its BlueVerse platform as a gateway for enterprises looking to deploy agentic AI at scale.
