LTM has launched GCC Origin, a dedicated business unit to help enterprises establish, operate and transform global capability centres (GCCs) in India.

The unit will operate as a standalone business within LTM, with dedicated leadership, sales and delivery teams. Shailendra Singh will lead it, reporting to Venu Lambu, CEO and MD of LTM.

“The role of the GCC has changed. Enterprises no longer set them up to cut costs, they want them to create value from day one and to own capabilities that shape the business,” Lambu said on October 28.

The launch comes as Indian GCCs take on greater functional responsibilities. A report by Embark, released on October 23, projected that India could add 1–1.4 million net GCC jobs by 2031 and require 150–170 million sq ft of additional office space. It also found that 71% of surveyed GCC leaders expected their centres to take on greater functional ownership.

GCC Origin will offer services across strategy, technology, talent, infrastructure and operations. Enterprises can engage it for the full GCC lifecycle or select individual services through models such as Assisted GCC, Build-Operate-Transform-Transfer, Virtual GCC, joint ventures, staff augmentation and Hire-Operate-Transfer.

The unit will also support site selection, workplace infrastructure, governance and operational readiness across tier-1 and tier-2 cities.

LTM said GCC Origin would use its BlueVerse AI platform to help enterprises build new centres and transform existing ones. The company said BlueVerse includes more than 300 pre-built, domain-specific AI agents, along with custom agents. The offering will also include AI centres of excellence, automation tools powered by Agent Next and access to LTM's AI studios in the US, Europe and India.

For staffing and workforce development, GCC Origin will use LTM platforms, including Talent Pool Radar, TalentInsights, and LTM Shoshin, which the company said support recruitment, talent management, and upskilling.

The unit will also offer IT and business operations services covering transition, governance, knowledge management, finance, tax, payroll and workplace services. Enterprises can opt to transfer operational ownership, talent, technology and infrastructure to their own teams.

The announcement did not specify an investment amount or revenue targets for GCC Origin.
