Maruti Suzuki India has partnered with five startups to co-create technology solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency, customer experience and sustainability across its business operations.
The startups MiniMines, Easework AI, Sarvam AI, Siftly, and CodeMate AI were selected from the fifth cohort of the Maruti Suzuki Incubation Program (MSIP), conducted in partnership with IIM Bangalore’s startup incubator, NSRCEL.
The collaborations span a range of use cases, from lithium-ion battery recycling and procurement automation to generative AI-powered customer engagement and software development. According to the company, the startups will work closely with Maruti Suzuki teams to address specific business challenges and deploy practical solutions.
MiniMines will focus on environmentally friendly recycling of end-of-life lithium-ion batteries and extraction of valuable materials. Easework AI will deploy agentic AI to automate procurement workflows related to indirect consumables, while Sarvam AI will build multilingual generative AI agents to improve customer interactions across touchpoints.
Siftly will enhance brand visibility through generative AI, and CodeMate AI will accelerate software application development for business processes.
Commenting on the partnerships, Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India, said in a statement, “At Maruti Suzuki, we have been actively working with startups to co-create innovative and practical solutions to address real business challenges. We are delighted to collaborate with five more startups.”
